Carbon Steel Forging

Carbon Steel Forging-

Aluminium Forging-

Aluminium forging is a method of forging aluminium in a variety of shapes and sizes, with various effects. The most common type of aluminium forging is cold rolling milling. This process can produce a wide range of shapes from simple blocks to complex parts with intricate details, using the same basic tooling as for standard production.

In addition to being able to create complex parts, cold rolling milling also allows you to create prototypes that are not possible with other types of manufacture. This is because cold rolling milling produces lightweight parts, which makes them easier to transport and store than heavier ones made from other processes.

Aluminium forging can be performed in two different ways-

Cooke Aluminium Forging

The first type of aluminium forging is called cooke aluminium forging. This process involves heating an aluminium block to approximately 800 degrees Celsius (1,500 degrees Fahrenheit) and then cooling it quickly to produce a solid piece of aluminium. The drawback with this method is that it requires very high temperatures, which can be dangerous if not done properly.

Gas Aluminium Forging

The second type of aluminium forging uses gas instead of coke for reducing temperatures. Gas-based reduction occurs at much lower temperatures than those required by cooke reduction and produces less heat than cooke reduction, so there are no safety concerns when using this method. Gas-based reduction also produces a more uniform product than other methods that use either coal or coke as reducing agents.
